How to Root Galaxy Ace DUOS GT-S6802

Instructions for GT-S6802 Ace DUOS and not for S5830
Warning:Although there's not much risk, but I will not be responsible if any update got your phone bricked
 

Requirement
  • Glaxy ACE Duos S6802
  • Shap eyes


Rooting enables you to take full mobile backup. Some apps (many) require root access.

Procedure
  1. Download update.zip from here.
  2. Copy it to your phone's /sdcard
  3. Turn off your phone and after the final vibration, press 3 button combo [Volume UP+HOME+Power] this will boot your phone to recovery mode
  4. select second option - 'install update from sdcard' [use volume up-down to navigate and HOME button to select]
  5. select 'update.zip'
  6. And you are DONE! cheers 
  7. Select reboot
Reboot your phone by selecting Reboot system now. It may take a couple of minutes as this is the first time your phone will boot.
Congratulations! You have successfully Root Galaxy  Ace DUOS GT-S6802 !!
