Android 4.2 JOP40C Software Update Download Now Available

That didn’t take long to arrive. Google has just rolled out the official Android 4.2 JOP40Csoftware update for the Galaxy Nexus and will shortly be released for the rest of the Nexus family by Google. Nexus 4 is the first Android phone to feature Android 4.2 and that phone just went live on sale. Android 4.2 JOP40C Jelly Beanfirmware can be downloadedmanually now, download and tutorial links have been given below.
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean has the build number JOP40C and is being currently rolled out to various Galaxy Nexus users. We already know the various features that Android 4.2 will bring with itself. Our favourite is Photo Sphere. Expect an Android 4.2 review very soon.
Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S (JOP40C) and Xoom are the pure Google devices that should be getting the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software update very soon. Google has not mentioned anything if they have decided to kill the Nexus S and Motorola XOOM, now that their new Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 are out for purchase.
