Upgrade your Kindle Fire to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean via ParanoidAndroid ROM

The ParanoidAndroid ROM is arguably one of the best ROMs, if not the most interesting, in terms of UI design. Amazon Kindle Fire users don’t need to stew in envy, as the ROM has now been made available for their device, bringing with it the fluid design and performance of Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and a unique phablet UI.

Compiled by XDA Developers member johnwayne007, this exciting and new port to the Kindle Fire should be an interesting experience due to the ROM’s multiple UI layout settings. It gives you the option of using a user interface design that is based off of Android phones, another layout that is based off of Android tablets, as well as a layout that combines the best of both phone- and tablet-based designs.
It also allows you to make further adjustments to these layouts through a number of options. You can also enjoy a bunch of goodies, such as additional ParanoidWallpapers and tweaks to the interface, like smaller bars and a transparent status bar.
