Call of Duty Black Ops is one of the popular series of the COD series and here is something which may hold your breath for a second. Yes as expected Activision have confirmed the call of duty Game this year will be a sequel to Black Ops. Unlike the First game, which took place during the Cold war held between USA and USSR, this one will take place in the near future and will deal with the looming threat of all out global conflict.

While Black Ops 2 looks like any prior Call of Duty game, it’s interesting to see that Treyarch have now added in a bit of open –endlessness into the game. This does’nt means the franchise is now in open-world territory , but players will have a choice in undertaking certain missing and the strory will then play out depending on the choices they make. These choices may also affect the fate of some of their squad mates.

These concept are’nt exactly unheard of in the industry, but it’s refereshing to see Treyarch try something different with the franchise. Expect more call of Duty: Black Ops 2 at E3 2012, and make sure your calender because that’s is when the game will release for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
