Upgrade the Epic 4G Touch D710 to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean via CyanogenMod 10

The Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch SPH-D710 has had a number of ICS firmware updates in the past few months. Since almost many Android devices are getting Jelly Bean updates through official and unofficial ROMs, it’s high-time that the Epic 4G Touch gets its share of the sweet offering.
Released just last year, the Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch for Sprint bears
the longest name for a mobile phone and it originally came to the market with Android 2.3 Gingerbread onboard. But, because of the ever-hardworking developer communities, this phone had the chance to taste Ice Cream Sandwich. Today, a faster and smoother OS, Jelly Bean, is now available for flashing through an unofficial CyanogenMod 10 (CM10) custom ROM.
Knowing CM10, you can expect a lot of customization options. Fused with Jelly Bean features, your Epic 4G Touch’s performance will be faster and its interface will be as smooth as butter.
This unofficial ROM is released by XDA Developers member PhantomPhreak53 to give the Epic 4G Touch owners a preview of Jelly Bean on their device.
In this guide, learn how to upgrade the Epic 4G Touch D710 to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean via CyanogenMod 10 (unofficial).
