Samsung Galaxy Note SGH-I717 (AT&T): How to install unofficial CyanogenMod 9 (CM9)

CyanogenMod 9 is one of the most popular custom ROMs in the world of Android taking the number one spot. Based on Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, an unofficial build of CyanogenMod 9 is now finally available for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note SGH-I717.
Thanks to XDA Developers member h0tw1r3, an unofficial CyanogenMod 9 (CM9) for AT&T Galaxy Note was produced, incorporating such wonderful features as S Pen support and theme chooser.
The custom ROM is still being aggressively developed, so expect a few kinks here and there.  In the latest build, the dev had made repairs for the battery status problem and duplication of carriers in NetworkSettings.
Known issues reported by users include echo on other end when using speakerphone, low audio level when using the earpiece and speakerphone, broken HDMI-out, and the Facebook app’s inability to sync contacts.  We can be sure that these issues will be ironed out in subsequent releases.
For the meantime, we’ve put together this guide to install the unofficial CyanogenMod 9 on your AT&T Galaxy Note.
